The only true 1 liter amber wide mouth glass packer on the market today! Greenwood Products has built a mold for a true one liter amber wide mouth packer while maintaining a very competitive price point vs the traditional 950 amber wide mouth packer used in today’s market. This product has been in environmental demand for a very long time and simply not available until now. Many of the EPA methods require 1 liter of sample collected in an amber jar. This includes methods such as SW-846 8270/ EPA 625 (SVOCs), SW-846 8081 and 8082/EPA 608 (Pesticides and PCBs), along with some drinking water methods. Labs have met the intent of this requirement by using the only option on the market, the traditional 950 ml wide mouth packer. A 950 ml amber wide mouth packer forces the analyst to work with a volume that is often closer to 900 ml than 1000 ml, a 10% reduction in required sample volume. This lower volume affects reporting limits.
